seascapes_Brighton Jetty on Sunset

The first Brighton jetty, built in 1886, was replaced in 1996 after storms destroyed the old jetty in 1994.The landmark Arch of Remembrance is the gateway to the jetty; the start and finish of South Australia's largest ocean swimming event, the Brighton Jetty Classic. Brighton is a great place to visit, a stroll along the esplanade, a quick nip at he local and of course lots of good eateries. It can be a very busy place, with people walking, running, sitting watching the ocean swell or storm as might be the case. This jetty is a major focal point for any visit to Brighton.
