Majestic Kimberly Country
The Kimberley region is made up of about 8-10 main tourist areas, I only visited a couple Bungle Bungles, Broom and Kununurra. Due to the slow speed that I travel at. ( always stopping for yet another photo) and the distances that one needs to travel it can take quite a few days. Mind you if your anything like me and try and avoid the main roads it can make for some interesting travel. Quite often this is where I find interesting images out in the open station country and drives to get to certain locations the hard way. and this shot was no exception it was one of many that I took driving into the Bungle Bungles. I loved the early morning light highlighting the top of the dried spinifex grass. looking towards the flat top rocky out crop.
