Kimberly Dust

Travelling with Kimberly Dust

If given the option of travelling on dirt roads or bitumen for me the dirt roads win out. What I find is that they are far more interesting and therefore I don't seem to get as tired travelling on them. Also most of them are pretty good to travel on at 80klm. per hour, which is the same speed for me on bitumen so it doesn’t make a lot of difference to the time it takes to get anywhere. Oh yes it does more chance of stopping for photos on the back roads. As you can see with this image of Kimberly Dust. I had stopped to take a photo of the surrounding countryside when a car came flying by, up came all the dust. Quickly reposition myself ( I was standing on top of my Landrover that I use for a shooting platform)  to capture the next car coming along so as to be able to get a good shot of the Kimberley Dust. Well the driver saw and stopped so there I was franticly waving and yelling “it's alright it’s the dust I want”. He must have heard me and put his foot down and took of and left a lovely cloud of dust behind.
