Abandoned homes are quite common.
Abandoned many years, this old series of buildings would have loads of fascinating stories to tell. From how it was created to who lived in it. The small little building on the front would be the original dwelling. The method used in it's construction is an old technique called "Wattle and Daube" which dates back to the early 1800's. From there over the years it appears to have been expanded. Whether this was due to the fact that more money was available or the family increased in size. For all I know it may have been both. Travelling around Australia we find many abandoned buildings.the biggest amount of abandoned homes and buildings. Would be in the rural sector, due to the hardships that were endured turning the early years. For me I love old buildings and the history and stories behind them. I created this in the sepia tones to help give a feeling of its age.
