Rows of vines in the hot summer sun.

Looking down these rows of vines you could see that the hot summer was taking it's toll on them, it hadn't  rained for months. And for the producer its a balance on what they spend on water and what the grape will fetch at market time. So by removing a lot of the colour it allowed me to give a bit of a feeling of the struggle to survive.

As extra protection our canvases are coated with a water based urethan coating, that is none yellowing does not crack and is water proof. This provides a layer of protection from our normal living contaminates.
