Spinifex grass can be found in most Outback areas.
Spinifex grass in the foreground with a fantastic rock formation at the end of the gully. In the Gawler Ranges National Park South Australia. The contrast within the viewfinder made a stunning image. What in particular the Gawler Ranges National Park is known for. Is the unique vertical rock formation that you see on the right hand side of the gully know as Rhyolite. But also as you drive around what you see is large areas of spinifex. Occasionally as the spinifex grows, it grows in near perfect circles.
