Stunning Wilkawillina Gorge in the Flinders Ranges. This is what anyone can see when they arrive. At this stunning gorge and you don't even have to leave the car. This Australian Landscape is typical of the remote areas of the Flinders Ranges. A broad wide river bed leading to the main gorge further up the creek, with the occasional pool of water at the right time of the year. On sunset a fantastic red ochre rock is displayed as you start heading into the gorge. Willkawillina Gorge is situated approximately 7 kms. From the Hawker Arkaroola road, and when compared to the main gorges in the Flinders Ranges National Park quite isolated
