It was amazing watching the grass seeds in the wind.
Grass seeds come in a variety of shapes and sizes. These were no exception, I can't say from what plant they come from . But I found the pattern they created was rather fascinating to say the least. It was on one of my many trips to Coffin Bay area on Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. This particular stretch of beach had a variety of grasses and small bushes growing on it. And piled up against a bush, I found these grass seeds. With their long spindly leaves I suppose that's what you'd call them. Will watching them I noticed it's the wind that moves them around. So I gather this is how the plant gets its seed to new locations .Sourced from the range of media by Canson Infinity.
