Kimberly always interesting and different.

The Kimberly region is made up of about 8-10 main tourist areas, I only visited a couple Bungle Bungles, Broome and Kununurra. Due to the slow speed that I travel at. ( always stopping for yet another photo) and the distances that one needs to travel it can take quite a few days. Mind you if you're anything like me and try and avoid the main roads it can make for some interesting travel. Quite often this is where I find interesting images out in the open station country and driving to get to certain locations the hard way. This shot was no exception it was one of many that I took driving into the Bungle Bungles. I loved the early morning light highlighting the top of the dried spinifex grass. looking towards the flat top rocky outcrop.
