Coastal Images Lean Pickings

Have been trying to get some coastal images

To add to my collection, but another couple of weeks have flown by at Peter Franz Photography and I still haven't got out there yet. I need to get a move on as I would like to use my newly acquired  16-24 lens for landscape work. Did a few preliminary shots around my back yard, but need to do a more in depth session.

Spend a couple of days at the Innes National Park on York Peninsular, just scouting around for possible Australian Landscape photos. There were a couple of good locations around two of the lighthouses, but the weather was too good with flat seas and clear skies. Need to go back when it’s stormy with dark clouds and has pounding waves breaking onto the cliff faces.

Sometimes what we find. is that it takes a number of trips into a location, or a lot of serious research prior to heading out to find that elusive costal image.Other times, I just toss my gear in the Landrover and head out to see what develops. This was one of those times.

I did manage to get one panorama around the Corny point area. Not what I’d call a fantastic Australian Landscape, but none the less, still a beautiful Australian Landscape of our coastal area. Also on occasions I find that I lack a bit of enthusiasm and don't quiet make the effort that I should when I am out and about.
But on the whole had a fantastic few days away from the office.
