Desert Queen Baths
The Desert queens Baths is a series of pools situated in the Karlamily National Park ( formerly known as Rudall ). As you clamber through the gorge and creek bed, you finally arrive at the main pool. and what a spectacular view it is. with it’s towering archer coloured cliffs on either side, reflecting in the pool below. If you're lucky enough to be there when there is no wind it’s difficult to tell what is real and what is a reflection. I arrived at the pool about 7 am to wait for the sun to rise to the right location so it eliminate both sides of the cliffs. This was so as to eliminate as much of the shadows as possible. It was a glorious morning watching the birds and waiting for the sunlight.
